Ethos Biosciences
We are a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that offers private label manufacturing to many of the biggest life science and diagnostic companies around the world. Our core competencies are immunoassays (ELISA/Lateral Flow) as well as specialty and high-volume diagnostic stains, buffers, and reagents. Our processes are governed by an ISO 13485/FDA 820 Medical Device certified quality management system (QMS). Position Summary:
Ethos Biosciences is seeking a motivated and results-driven Technical Sales Representative to drive sales growth and support customers in the scientific community. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific/technical background as a MedTech, proven sales experience in a scientific products-based company, and a passion for customer engagement. This role requires significant travel to meet with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a defined sales territory for medical laboratory products
- Develop and implement sales strategies that align with customer and channel needs and market demands, driving sales growth across multiple verticals to achieve revenue targets.
- Establish metrics to track the success of technical sales initiatives and report on performance against targets.
- Identify and engage with prospective customers in the hospital laboratory, reference labs and diagnostic markets, leveraging industry knowledge to identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our market presence.
- Provide technical expertise and product recommendations to customers by overseeing the creation and delivery of technical presentations and product demonstrations that effectively communicate the benefits of Ethos Biosciences solutions.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential laboratory clients by serving as a technical resource, addressing product questions and workflow needs
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to support sales efforts, communicate customer feedback and influence product development priorities.
- Maintain accurate sales activities, opportunities and reports using CRM (HubSpot) software.
- Represent Ethos Biosciences at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
- Support contract, GPO, and pricing initiatives within assigned accounts
- Stay current on laboratory trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field. Equivalent hands-on laboratory experience would be considered.
- 2-3 years of sales experience in technical sales or solution engineering in a laboratory products-based company, with a proven track record of success.
- Direct experience working in a clinical, hospital, or reference laboratory
- Strong understanding of laboratory testing workflows and quality standards
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer service.
- Ability to travel frequently within assigned territory (up to 50% of the time).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior sales experience in medical, diagnostic, or laboratory products into hospital systems, reference labs or physician offices
- ASCP certification (MLS, MLT, HT, HTL, MB, or related)
- Familiarity with regulated laboratory environments (CLIA, CAP, FDA)
- Understanding of GPOs, contracts, and hospital purchasing processes
- Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
