Private Label Manufacturing
Ethos Biosciences provides private-label manufacturing as an integrated part of our services, designed to support companies that need reliable production without building internal infrastructure. With nearly 25 years of experience supplying reagents, our team supports projects from early formulation through final delivery.
Our approach enables customers to consolidate multiple vendors into a single process. Manufacturing is based out of our 126,000 sq ft facility in Logan Township, New Jersey, while our sourcing is supported through a global network that helps us maintain steady material access. As part of a broader Ott scientific organization, Ethos Biosciences combines the responsive service and support that a smaller company can provide with the backing of our parent company to access established supply channels and procurement resources.
Built for Flexibility and Control
Private label manufacturing at Ethos is structured around flexibility; some customers arrive with defined specifications and maintain close control over every step. Others rely on our team to guide development and handle all documentation and production.
Each project follows a defined design and quality process under ISO 13485. We maintain all documentation (design files, certificates of analysis, safety data sheets, instructions for use) throughout the process. Customers can be involved as much or as little as they desire in the creation of these documents.
Customization extends across the product lifecycle. Formulation and kit configurations can all be adjusted to match specific requirements. Whether the goal is a single reagent or a complete diagnostic kit, the process begins with a baseline product and is refined based on our customers’ input.
What we
Manufacture
Ethos supports a range of product types within our private label manufacturing. This includes reagent, ELISA kits, and lateral flow assays. We can structure production around individual components or complete kits, depending on how the final product will be used.
Our kitting capabilities support both full workflow solutions and replacement components. Some customers require complete kits, while others need individual components that are designed with their existing systems in mind. We are able to support both within the same framework.
Our scope of manufacturing remains focused on diagnostic and research applications. Our teams can support both RUO and class I and II IVDs, but we do not manufacture pharmaceuticals or products that are intended for ingestion or injection.
Speed to Market
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the product, particularly when development is involved. However, the structure of the organization allows projects to move efficiently. Teams can run multiple projects in parallel and adapt as our customer requirements evolve.
Many companies choose private label manufacturing to avoid the time and capital that is required to build internal capabilities. We produce assays or reagents that require specialized equipment and controlled environments that can take years to establish.
Once production is established, lead times are typically two to four weeks for non-stocked items. Stocking agreements with us can further reduce turnaround time by keeping inventory on hand for immediate shipment.
Project timelines tend to move more smoothly when we have a strong starting point, things like clear specifications and information help our development and production teams keep everything progressing efficiently.
Manufacturing and Scale
At Ethos Biosciences, we have the structure in place to support both early-stage production and large-scale manufacturing. Customers can also begin with smaller volumes and expand over time without needing to transition to a new supplier.
Our facility supports large scale formulation, with tank capacity up to 11,000 litres. Processes are designed to maintain uniformity across batches, even at higher volumes. Filling lines accommodate a range of formats (from small containers to bulk packaging) including viscous and hazardous materials.
For lateral flow production, dedicated controlled environments support both development and high-volume manufacturing and our equipment ranges from small-scale systems to reel-to-reel processes, allowing production to scale within the same workflow.
Supply Chain and Support
All of our sourcing is supported through a combination of internal procurement and established supplier relationships across multiple regions. Primary and secondary sourcing strategies, along with internal inventory thresholds, help maintain supply continuity.
This structure reduces variability and helps make sure that production is not disrupted by changes in material availability or economic climate. Bulk purchasing and established partnerships also help support keeping low. Our support does not end once a product is shipped either. Our customers have access to technical teams for troubleshooting throughout the lifecycle of the product.
