Our Marking Dyes for Tissue are designed to perfect orientation of excised surgical specimens, which is highly beneficial to surgeons and pathologists testing for skin cancer. This method of marking multiple margins of specimens was originally documented by Dr. Frederic Mohs. Tissue marking dyes also provide a mode of identification, enabling more than one specimen to be processed in a single cassette, saving the lab technologist both time and materials.
