Counterstain used in succession following carbol-fuchsin staining and decolorizing in the AFB staining procedure. Used to detect acid-fast microorganisms, specifically mycobacterium. Set includes 8oz bottle of each (Kinyoun): Carbol Fuchsin, Decolorizer, and Brilliant Green Counterstain.
