Technical Sales Representative

What You Will Do:

  • Promote the sales of the company’s lateral flow immunoassay contract development and manufacturing services.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales target on a quarterly and annual basis by maintaining growth within existing customer base as well as actively searching for new business opportunities.
  • Perform at-customer-site sales calls and presentations and execute appropriate follow-up.
  • Provide regular forecast and contact list updates and call reports.
  • Develop and execute annual account development plans.
  • Follow up on sales leads from company trade shows, marketing campaigns, telephone inquiries and other sources. Develop list of prospective customers.
  • Drive effective presentation / proposal / quote preparation and manage the overall opportunity process, including communication strategies, etc.
  • Support Marketing in developing strategies and sales tools needed.
  • Contribute to new product ideas and promotional activities to assure profitable growth

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales or technical support role in the in vitro diagnostic market.
  • Knowledge of, and experience selling or providing technical support for lateral flow immunoassays.
  • Excellent track record of account management or technical support success.

production planner

We are looking for a Production Planner who will be developing daily and weekly production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. In doing so, determine material, equipment, and labor requirements necessary to effectively ensure that production orders are completed on time and within budget.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing production status updates to management, and closely monitor the production process to ensure schedule adherence

The Production Planner should demonstrate excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure that production operations run smoothly This role is responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). This position will work a Monday – Friday (8:00am-4:30pm) schedule. We are located in Logan Township, NJ. This is a regular, full-time position with benefits.

What You Will Do:

  • Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.
  • Estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.
  • Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
  • Coordinating production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
  • Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
  • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner.
  • Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
  • Supporting other supply chain team members and initiatives

Qualifications

  • Degree in business preferred or High School diploma/equivalency with 1 year of Production Planning experience
  • Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) accreditation or other relevant certification is helpful but not required
  • Basic computer skills, familiar with the use of a computer including Microsoft Office applications
  • Prior manufacturing or packaging experience helpful, but not necessary
  • Fluent in the English language with the ability to read and write
  • Ability to work in coordination with other team members to accomplish goals
  • Must be flexible with work schedule as needed
  • Adherence to site safety regulations including wearing required personal protective equipment such as steel toed safety shoes.

Machine operator

The Machine Operator is responsible for operation of filling or packaging equipment in accordance with good manufacturing practices. Responsible to perform various quality checks and assist in the cleaning and change-over of equipment as well as maintaining an accurate inventory through activities such as: proper reporting of material usage, minimizing wastes, and ensuring that measuring devices are properly calibrated.
